Great to hear some symphonia music on the audio portal. Transitions were a bit quick, but each song was great. Could've used a bigger bass presence.
PS: Might want to remind people of each theme you remixed in the description in case they forget which song any of them were.
Yeah, I'm not very happy with the transitions either... That's the first time I do multiple songs in one, so, it was hard.
I was wondering what I had forgotten! I'll add it right now.
Thank you for your review! ^^
i would change the sort of brass sounding rhythm synth that is present prior to 0:50 (first rhythm track right from 0:00), doesn't really suit the sound.
otherwise awesome work so far, after 0:50 is great (and the part before aint bad either)
the flute track at the end is epic.
Well done, cool sounding RPG sort theme, sounds like music from 64-bit era games. Make moar!
(Longer stuff too)
Thanks! I grew up playing 64-bit and 16-bit games (nes,snes,n64,..) got allot of inspiration from those old games, its what got me into composing :)
Great stuff! Percussion's a bit repetitive, 1:21-1:41 was great.
That background thrum makes it sound just as brinstar should.
PS - change the name to "Christmas in Brinstar"
(the high end chimes keep making me think of christmas music, but its weirdly fitting.)
Guitar track is pretty good (coherent and suitable), however drum and bass tracks although suitable to the original track have low variation and leave the song very one dimensional. When it sounds this similar to the original theme its a bit bland. Drums are a bit to 8-bit'y to fit with a metal guitar distortion, a realistic drum track does better in this sort of composition. Also needs a bigger presence of mid range rhythm apart from the lower range bass track.
hey, its vortiene
very good composition, and sounds great, however i wouldve expected a bit more intermingling and transition between the tracks in order for it to feel like a true medley rather than simply multiple orchestral covers in a sequence. nonetheless, it is well done and worth 5 stars
Hey man :D.
I know, you're right about those transitions, but I really tried and I couldn't get them to sound good other than sometimes simply stopping one part and fading in the next.
Thanks for the feedback dude!
suits the theme
The background piano is what makes it sound like a song from chrono trigger. I love it!
Thanks.I'm glad you appreciate it.^^
sexy
Reminds me of marle's theme from chrono trigger, great atmosphere and mood.
oh man... LOVE that theme and game.
I like it and i don't even like this kind of music
Best song in the trance section i have heard so far! The break part really makes it sick!
